The Butterfly Mark @ Studio Tondini
In luxury, trust cannot be claimed.
It must be earned.
Studio Tondini has been awarded the Butterfly Mark by Positive Luxury, an independent certification for high-end brands meeting rigorous standards for people and nature.
For us, this mark is not an arrival point.
It is a commitment to progress.
It recognises the work we have undertaken across environmental, social, and governance practices - and the responsibility to keep improving them over time.
The Butterfly Mark is a living certification.
It must be regularly re-earned.
This is how we choose to move forward: with care, with evidence, and with the discipline to do what is difficult, not only what is visible.
Our work with

To earn the Butterfly Mark, Studio Tondini completed an independent, expert-led assessment covering the key areas of sustainability.
The assessment is informed by international agreements, global frameworks and standards, and potential future legislation.
We were required to provide evidence of our work across environmental, social, and governance criteria: from climate, nature and water, to people management, responsible sourcing, and ethical business practices.
Studio Tondini passed the assessment with a very high score.
Our commitment does not end here.
Every two years, we will undergo recertification against increasingly demanding standards.

E for Environment
Focus: Climate
Studio Tondini operates through a short supply chain located entirely in Italy, with the exception of Piñatex®.
We recognise the importance of understanding our carbon footprint and setting reduction targets for emissions.
For this reason, we developed a Climate Action Policy to guide the measurement and reduction of emissions across our value chain. The policy follows a plan-act-check-and-correct approach and covers Scope 1, Scope 2, and selected Scope 3 emissions.
Our initial focus is on key products, allowing us to direct our efforts where they can have the greatest impact.

S for Social
Focus: People Management
We developed an Employee Handbook, together with policies on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), and Human Rights.
These documents define clear principles for the people who work with us and reflect the values that guide Studio Tondini as we grow.
They support our commitment to a working environment where people are respected, valued, and empowered.

G for Governance
Focus: SDGs Alignment - Sustainable procurement
We identified the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals most relevant to our work, in line with the 2030 Agenda.
To support Goal 12, Responsible Consumption and Production, we are working to introduce repair and rental services, remove plastics entirely from packaging, and develop new materials with enhanced sustainability characteristics, including recyclability.
We also established sourcing KPIs and a Supplier Code of Conduct to strengthen how we select and work with suppliers.
By setting measurable standards, we align our sourcing decisions with our sustainability goals and promote greater transparency across our supply chain.
Progress is not a statement.
It is a practice.
At Studio Tondini, we choose it every day.
