The Codes
The Plaque

The Studio Tondini logo plate is inspired by a marble symbol on the side of St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice, an opus sectile composition of Byzantine origin that has contributed to the Cathedral's richness over time.
At its height, Venice was the first cosmopolitan city in the world.
A place where nations, ideas, and aesthetics met and influenced one another.
The symbol carries that legacy, an expression of exchange, movement, and coexistence.
For our Founder, it reflects a way of seeing the world: open, curious, and enriched by difference.
A cosmopolitanism no longer tied to a single place, but to people who engage with many.
This plaque is our mark of that mindset.

The V Shape

The V shape is a defining element of some Studio Tondini bags, inspired by the language of architecture and art.
The triangle is one of the most enduring forms in visual composition. From early Renaissance perspective, used to create depth, to classical painting, where triangular structures guide the eye and bring balance and movement, this geometry has long shaped how we see.
Fashion has often drawn from these principles. Lines, in particular, have the power to transform proportions.
The Studio Tondini V shape follows this logic. It refines even the most generous volumes, bringing elegance through movement.

The Edge

The edge construction is also one of Studio Tondini’s defining codes.
A refined leathercraft technique, it requires time, precision, and a sequence of meticulous steps, finished with the careful application of edge paint. Each layer is shaped, sealed, and perfected by hand.
It is a process that demands control and craftsmanship at the highest level.
At Studio Tondini, this technique is used extensively. A clear sign of the care, discipline, and attention behind every object.
