2. Returns: Limiting our Environmental Footprint, Together

Free returns have been generating worldwide:

  • circa 5 Million metric tons of CO2 (2019 data, source: Forbes) and
  • over 2 Billion tons of waste (2019 data, source: Vogue Business).

We believe that, if each of us does something little for our planet, together we can make a huge difference.

Therefore, we decided not to offer free returns, in the hope that you will order only those items you truly wish to treasure.

This is part of our broader policy towards reducing unnecessary packaging and being kind to the environment - hence, ultimately, to each other! - as much as we can.

Please note that this policy does not affect any of your rights and that returns are nevertheless accepted as per our terms and conditions.

3. General Shipment and Delivery Conditions (EU and International)

3.1 Goods are generally delivered on dispatch route and to the delivery address indicated by the Client, unless agreed otherwise. During the processing of the transaction, the delivery address indicated in the Seller’s order processing is decisive.

3.2 Should the assigned transport company return the goods to the Seller, because delivery to the Client was not possible, the Client bears the costs for the unsuccessful dispatch. This shall not apply, if the Client exercises his right to cancel effectively, if the delivery cannot be made due to circumstances beyond the Client's control or if he has been temporarily impeded to receive the offered service, unless the Seller has notified the Client about the service for a reasonable time in advance.

3.3 Personal collection is not possible for logistical reasons.

3.4 Vouchers will be provided to the Client as follows:

  • by e-mail
  • by post

3.5 The Seller reserves the right to withdraw from the contract in the event of incorrect or improper self-supply. This only applies if the Seller is not responsible for the non-supply and if he has concluded a concrete hedging transaction with the supplier. The Seller shall make all reasonable efforts to obtain the goods. In case of non-availability or partial availability of the goods he shall inform the Client and grant him immediately counter performance.

 

4. Liefer- und Versandbedingungen (Schweiz)

4.1 Die Lieferung von Waren erfolgt regelmässig auf dem Versandwege und an die vom Kunden angegebene Lieferanschrift. Bei der Abwicklung der Transaktion ist die in der Bestellabwicklung des Verkäufers angegebene Lieferanschrift massgeblich.

4.2 Sendet das Transportunternehmen die versandte Ware an den Verkäufer zurück, da eine Zustellung beim Kunden nicht möglich war, trägt der Kunde die Kosten für den erfolglosen Versand.

4.3 Grundsätzlich geht die Gefahr des zufälligen Untergangs und der zufälligen Verschlechterung der verkauften Ware mit Aufgabe der Ware zum Versand oder mit Übergabe an die beauftragte Transportperson über.

4.4 Selbstabholung ist aus logistischen Gründen nicht möglich.

4.5 Gutscheine werden dem Kunden wie folgt überlassen:

  • per E-Mail
  • postalisch

4.6 Der Verkäufer behält sich das Recht vor, im Falle nicht richtiger oder nicht ordnungsgemäßer Selbstbelieferung vom Vertrag zurückzutreten. Dies gilt nur für den Fall, dass die Nichtlieferung nicht vom Verkäufer zu vertreten ist und dieser mit der gebotenen Sorgfalt ein konkretes Deckungsgeschäft mit dem Zulieferer abgeschlossen hat. Der Verkäufer wird alle zumutbaren Anstrengungen unternehmen, um die Ware zu beschaffen. Im Falle der Nichtverfügbarkeit oder der nur teilweisen Verfügbarkeit der Ware wird der Kunde unverzüglich informiert und die Gegenleistung unverzüglich erstattet.
